Spain national team honors training workers during Euro 2020
The Spanish national team decided today, Friday, to honor the workers responsible for carrying balls and training equipment during the European Football Championship (Euro 2020).
The players and the technical staff chose to organize a party in the existing camp in the sports city of Las Rojas of the Spanish Football Federation in the capital, Madrid, during the day of rest that coach Luis Enrique gave his players before resuming training on Saturday, in preparation for facing the Croatian team on Tuesday in the price of the Euro 2020 final.
The ceremony came in order to express the feelings of appreciation to Tony Guerra, Joaquin Retamosa and Guillermo Garizal, who were responsible for the equipment during the continental championship at the national team level.
The players and coaching staff wanted to give these officials a small treat in the form of a day off and a snack at the training grounds, as well as a relaxing physiotherapy and an honor corridor.
