iPhone 14 will connect to satellites
New leaks revealed new features that Apple may add to the iPhone 14 series phones, which are scheduled to be launched next September.
It said iPhone 14 phones may include a satellite feature to send and receive SOS messages only when cellular connectivity is not available.
Mashable quoted Mark Gorman, a trusted Apple journalist at Bloomberg, that the iPhone 14 will have a Qualcomm X60 modem that will allow smartphones to communicate via satellite.
It is reported that the “Mac Roomers” website revealed in December 2021 that the new iPhone phones will be without a chip, and that these phones are expected to be launched within the next two years.
He said that the "iPhone 15 Pro", which is expected to be released within two years, will be the first phones that work without a chip.
He added that US telecommunications companies will present models for the "iPhone 13" that works without a chip in the second quarter of next year.
