US court convicts 3 police officers of negligence in helping George Floyd
Yesterday (Thursday), a federal court convicted 3 policemen who were present during the arrest of African-American George Floyd in 2020, in the incident that led to his death asphyxiation, and for failing to intervene to provide assistance to him while he was dying before their eyes, and the jury issued its verdict after Deliberations lasted two days in the month-long trial.
Tu Thaw, 36, Alexander Koenig, 28, and Thomas Lane, 38, are on trial in St Paul.
