Hurricane Grace death toll rises to 11 in Mexico
Heavy rains that fell on Mexico, Saturday, during the passage of Hurricane "Grace", which quickly receded into a tropical storm, killed 3 people in the state of Puebla (central), bringing the total number of victims to 11.
A statement issued by the office of the governor of Puebla state, on Sunday, said: "We have counted 3 dead: one in Huachinango, and the other two in Tlaula."
On Saturday, the authorities said that Hurricane Grace killed at least 8 people, including 5 children of the same family, during its sweep in eastern Mexico, also causing floods, landslides and damage to homes and shops.
The strength of the hurricane later declined as it headed inland, over the heights in the center of the country, causing widespread damage.
In Xalapa, the capital of Veracruz state, roads have turned into muddy rivers.
Among the victims was a mother and 5 of her children who were buried in a hill collapse on their small house.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrado sent his condolences to the families of the victims.
