Apple cooperates with Chinese suppliers to produce iPhone 13 series
Japan's Nikkei newspaper said on Wednesday that Apple is working with more Chinese suppliers to produce its latest iPhone 13 series phones.
The newspaper, citing informed sources, added that Luxshare Precision Industry is set to manufacture up to 3% of the upcoming iPhone series this month, after winning orders over Taiwanese competitors Foxconn and Pegatron. Two companies it acquired last year will also supply the American company with components and key parts for the latest iPhones.
Moreover, the paper noted on its website that Lens Tech will provide metal casings and another group called Sunny Optical Tech Group will supply the rear camera lenses, with BOE Tech Group also providing the components.
For its part, the technology giant Apple did not respond to this news and did not provide any official statements about the matter.
