Naftali Bennett: A million people in Israel put everyone's health at risk Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett renewed the call for Israelis to get a vaccine against the emerging corona virus.

At the start of his weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, he said: "More than a million citizens who can receive the vaccination have not yet been vaccinated, and thus, they are endangering the health and livelihood of all the citizens of Israel."

“I can understand people who were afraid of getting vaccinated at first, when everything was new and we didn't have much experience. But now, that more than a billion people around the world have already received the vaccination, and since all countries are witnessing how effective and safe it is, it is time to take the extra step and go to receive the vaccination.”

He said that the government will discuss later today the plan of the Ministries of Education and Health in preparation for the launch of the school year on the first of September. He stressed, "The more parents who will be keen now, during the summer, to vaccinate their children, the smoother the school year will be."

And he received the first dose of the anti-Corona vaccine in Israel, which has a population of more than 9 million, 5 million and 757,553 people, while the two recommended doses were 5 million and 292,589 people. Today, the number of active infections reached 11,390.
