In the statement, which Masrawy obtained a copy of, the bank said: “With reference to what was mentioned on some social media sites and a commitment to banking secrecy stipulated in the legislation regulating banking work, by not disclosing information related to a customer’s account or its dealings, the bank would like to note that upon receipt of Judicial seizures by the court or other bodies legally authorized to seize customer balances, the bank’s work procedures require informing the customer of this.”


The bank confirmed that, "A customer's account cannot be seized or prevented from disposing of it except by a judicial order or ruling from a judicial authority."


And banking sources, today, revealed to Masrawy, the reason for the seizure of the money of the artist, Mohamed Ramadan. The sources said that the decision regarding Ramadan’s money is not a reservation, as the artist said in a video clip that he posted on his accounts, but rather a reservation related to a judicial ruling in the case of pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr.
