NBA: James Harden leads Brooklyn Nets to a fiery showdown against the Milwaukee Bucks James Harden led the Brooklyn Nets to the second round of the NBA Playoffs with his remarkable brilliance against his guest Boston Celtics (123-109) in their fifth match in the first round, to set up a fiery meeting with the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.

Harden scored a Triple Double by scoring 34 points with 10 rebounds and the likes of assists, and contributed greatly to widening the difference most of the periods, whether through three-pointers or penetrations inside the arc.

His fellow star Kyrie Irving crowned his return after missing the last two games due to injury, with success, as he scored 25 points, while the second star, Kevin Durant, added 24 points.

The "big three" reviewed the middle of the last quarter with four attempts, during which they scored 3 points in a span of two minutes, to expand their team difference to 15 points (106-91), as Harden started it with a basket and a free throw, and Durant and Irving added a triple, before Harden followed suit with a throw from outside the arc.

The Brooklyn Nets imposed logic by reaching the second round and facing one of the main contenders for the title, Milwaukee Bucks, led by Greek stars Yannis Antetokounmpo and Gro Holiday, who were the first to qualify for the next round.

On the other hand, the Celtics suffered due to the absence of their two injured stars, Kimba Walker and Jalen Brown, and the brilliance of top scorer Jason Tatum, who imposed himself as the second best scorer in the match with 32 points with 9 rebounds and five assists, did not help him despite suffering from a foot injury.

The title holder is in danger

The Los Angeles Lakers are on the verge of losing the title when they suffered a humiliating defeat at the Phoenix Suns 85-115 to lose 2-3.

And it seemed clear that the Lakers were affected by the absence of star Anthony Davis due to injury, as his team suffered in defense from many mistakes and in attack, as the other star "King" LeBron James was the only one among the main quintet to cross the ten-point barrier by scoring 24 points, with him being substitutes Kyle Kuzma and Talen Horton-Tucker (15 points each).

The Lakers also played combativeness in play, becoming Yemeni with the recovery of their star Davis before the sixth confrontation at home Thursday to impose a decisive seventh match, as James will not be able alone to achieve the miracle.

On the other hand, the Suns owes their victory to Devan Booker, who has 30 points with 7 rebounds.

The Suns finished the first half in his favour, by 30 points (66-36), which is the biggest difference the Lakers have been behind in 25 years.
