French astronaut Thomas Pesquet gave his mother a picture from space, showing the Egyptian governorate of Fayoum in the form of a love heart, to express his love for her.
Pique wrote in a tweet on his Twitter page, attaching the photo: There is no Valentine's Day during (Mission Alpha), but today is Mother's Day in France and other countries.
"My mother receives a personal message, but I am addressing this heart-shaped painting to all mothers in the world," he added.
Pique was known for his love for Egypt, and for its geography in particular, as he is always interested in publishing pictures of the Nile and the Delta and their courtship of their unique location.
And he posted in another tweet a picture of the Nile River and the Delta, and commented on the picture, expressing his admiration for the location of this distinguished river.

No Valentine’s Day during #MissionAlpha, but today is #MothersDay in France (and other countries). My mother gets a personal message, but I dedicate this ♥-shaped oasis to all the mothers in the world: it should really be more than one day a year anyway. https://t.co/jegjcbHEF9 pic.twitter.com/8RLU9wKoXS
