The world number one said: "He was guiding me the whole match and he was cheering me on and also giving me 'tactics' like 'hold your serve' and 'go for the backhand' he was literally coaching me.
Djokovic added: "I found it very nice and felt like giving the racket to the best person after the match and that was the best expression of my gratitude for holding me and supporting me."
