Cryptocurrency: “Bitcoin” loses more than $ 500 in early trading
The performance of encrypted digital currencies varied at the beginning of trading today, Wednesday, coinciding with the expectations that the gains would return to them, despite the efforts of some countries to regulate their trading and establish legal frameworks for them.
By 07:30 am GMT, the “Bitcoin” currency returned to decline by 1.6 percent, losing more than $500, to trade below the $36.87 level.
The cryptocurrency tumbled at the end of last month to levels approaching $30,000, after reaching record levels in mid-April, which prompted it to suffer its largest monthly loss ever, which amounted to about 40%.
In early trading, the total market capitalization of Bitcoin declined to $690.13 billion from $700 billion, losing $9.8 billion.
In terms of other cryptocurrencies, during today's trading, the "Ethereum" currency declined by 2.3%, reaching the level of $2.64 thousand. The Ripple currency fell by 6% to reach about $ 1.008.
On the other hand, Dogecoin rose by 11.35% to reach $0.37. The “Binance Coin” currency increased by 1.46%, reaching about $363.87. While the "Cardano" currency recorded slight increases of 0.14%, reaching about $1.76.
In this morning's trading, the total market value of cryptocurrencies jumped to about $1.64 trillion, compared to $1.63 trillion 24 hours ago, gaining $100 billion, up 0.63%.
