The European Medicines Agency approves the use of the Pfizer vaccine for ages 12-15
Today, Friday, the European Medicines Agency approved the use of the (Pfizer-Biontec) vaccine against the emerging corona virus (Covid-19), for the age group 12 to 15 years, to immunize children in the European Union.
The Amsterdam-based agency said the children are "able to tolerate" the vaccine "well."
The director of vaccination strategy at the European Medicines Agency, Marco Cavalieri, said that clinical test data really shows that the vaccine significantly protects younger groups.
