Rima Juffali is the first Saudi female driver to compete in the Formula E championship

Rima Al Juffali is one of these women, in addition to being the first Saudi female driver to participate in Formula events for the second time in the speed car races hosted by Al Diriyah.
Rima Al-Juffali said, upon joining these events: “I am very proud to be a participant at this time. It has been two years or more for the first race that I take place in Ad Diriyah, and I did not think one day that I would participate as a driver in this race and in my country in particular, where the preference is for us as competitors. And a wonderful opportunity to succeed, I am happy in this participation and in representing my country in my country.
Rima added: "My participation in the 2019 season of Diriyah was the beginning of my competitive career, and it was perhaps the most prominent day in it. I will remain proud of what happened for the rest of my life. It was the first time that I was racing with an electric car, and this was my first participation in an international race at home." And that was a historic moment for me and my country. "
Rima continued: "I was very lucky to have the opportunity to participate in this race in front of my country’s fans, and I hope that there will be more of this opportunity in the future. I really could not believe what was happening to me. I remember when I was in my car before the start of the race and then I looked at the Saudi flag. Her moment, I sensed the importance of this day and this moment in particular, and I was very proud of this participation. The future remains ahead of me and I am very excited for what is to come. "
Rima continued: "Saudi Arabia makes history in this race because it differs greatly from daytime races for the contestants and the public as well, by virtue of the fact that the race at night has a more enthusiastic nature. My message to everyone is: Do not miss the opportunity to watch a beautiful and enjoyable race."
Rima said: "Many drivers praised the Dir'iya circuit for being a distinct circuit, and I believe that because of the establishment of global motorsports races on this distinctive historical site in the Kingdom, being in the heart of Diriyah makes you feel as if you are in a unique place, by virtue of that this site is an important part." From the history of the Kingdom, I have never participated in a street circuit before, and I have to adapt to driving an electric car on a track very close to the walls, which makes it a special day for me and it is difficult for me to forget it. "

It is worth noting that the Diriyah area is one of the UNESCO heritage sites, and the Formula E race will return to it for the third time in a row that will be held in the Kingdom, and it will be held on February 26 and 27.
