Kashe Quest, a second-year-old American girl, joins the Big Genius Club A two-year-old American girl in Los Angeles became the youngest member of a genius club (Mensa) ever after scoring 146 on an IQ test.

The Daily Mail reported that while most children of her age still wear diapers, American toddler Kashe Quest can name and mark all 50 US states according to shape and location, as well as the entire periodic table of minerals.

Kashe Quest's parents explained that she is already learning Spanish and Punjabi, interpreting different shapes and patterns, and can distinguish more than 50 sign signs.

While the father, Devon Athwal, indicated that his daughter has a passion for knowledge, and tends to always ask the question "why", she wants to know the identity of something and how it works, and as soon as she learns something she applies it.

Kashe Quest has an IQ of 146, which makes it superior to the average IQ for American adults, which is around 100, according to the Minsa website.

The mother said that her daughter is currently studying in kindergarten and enjoys an excellent relationship with her classmates and teachers, despite her young age.

On the other hand, Trevor Mitchell, CEO of American Mensa, described the two-year-old as "wonderful."

He explained in press statements yesterday that "it is rare for a child to have talent at such a young age and is recognized, and for her unnatural abilities, and therefore her parents will be able to help her in some of the unique challenges that talented youth face."

He pointed out that "being the smartest person in the room is not always an easy thing," noting that "Mensa" is aware of the importance of the challenge from others.

In a related context, and despite Kashe Quest's amazing IQ, her parents insist that she is a regular child who loves the famous animated movie Frozen, noting that they do not want her to grow up quickly in order to enjoy her years of life.

"My daughter Kashe Quest loves to play with her friends," Athol said. "We are not in a hurry to transfer her to a higher school level next fall. We do not want her to be too old or to put this kind of pressure on her."
