Israel is expected to begin vaccinating children between the ages of 12 and 15 as early as next week, with approval for the campaign expected in the coming days.
Experts uncovered loopholes in the face of "Covid-19" and called for widespread reforms of the warning and prevention systems.
"Israel is returning to normal life," said Israeli Health Minister Yuli Edelstein. "We are harvesting the fruits of these vaccinations with a low number of injuries."
The Israeli Ministry of Health announced the registration of 12 new cases of the Corona epidemic during the past 24 hours, with only 349 patients identified, among whom 49 were in serious condition and 35 were using ventilators.
After 10,136 tests were performed, the positivity rate decreased to 0.1%.
Israel has recorded 6,411 deaths and more than 839,000 people have been infected with the Corona epidemic since its outbreak to date.
The number of those who received the first dose of the vaccine amounted to 5,450,570 and the second dose of 5,130,087 to date.
