Egypt produces the first 2 million doses of Sinopharma vaccine
Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population in Egypt, said that Egypt was interested in the manufacture of new Corona virus vaccines on its soil.
She also thanked the Chinese President and the Chinese government for supporting Egypt in industrialization during the pandemic period. Where the first shipment of raw materials to manufacture the vaccine will be received on May 18th.
The Minister of Health added, during a press conference she is now holding, that she expects to produce the first two million doses of 40 million doses by the end of next month. After production, they will be evaluated for several weeks by the Egyptian Medicines Authority, before they can be marketed, and within weeks we will have the first two million doses of the Sinovac vaccine.
