China resorts to music to encourage its residents to receive vaccinations!

After the free eggs and the vouchers, the Chinese authorities have resorted to music to try to encourage the hesitants to receive the vaccine, and released a video of hip-hop on Tuesday in order to promote the vaccination campaign against Covid-19.

The video, which includes the compelling "get the vaccine quickly" crisis, was posted on social networks by the Ministry of Health in Sichuan Province (southwest), and has garnered thousands of "likes".

The video shows a person wearing a white coat among a nursing staff, as he says: "The whole world is rushing to receive Chinese vaccines, and other countries are waiting for them day and night."

Nationwide, more than 421.9 million doses of anti-coronavirus vaccines were given Tuesday, according to a count.

Although the number seems impressive, the vaccination campaign was slow in China, as it was hampered by a controlled epidemic situation and the lack of a feeling among the population that the vaccine was necessary.

By mid-May, about 30 percent of the Chinese population had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccine.

But the authorities are trying to speed up their campaign with the goal of vaccinating 40 percent of the population by June (or 560 million people), while sporadic new mutations of the virus have spread in Anhui (east) and Liaoning (northeast).
