International star Jennifer Lopez appeared in new pictures with her ex-lover Ben Affleck, during their vacation in Miami, confirming that they have returned for some time since their official separation in 2004, after the separation of Lopez from her boyfriend Alex Rodrigues, last April.
The two photographers captured their first clear shots on Sunday in Miami, and they seem very happy, as Jennifer Lopez appears in the photos with a big smile on her face as Affleck stands behind her, according to people.
This trip between them comes shortly after they reconnected during her last trip to Los Angeles, where they were photographed outside Jennifer Lopez's home in Los Angeles in April days after her separation from Alex Rodrigues, and then they went together on a day-long trip to Montana, They were seen driving the car together on May 8, according to a source close to them.
The source confirmed that while they were in Los Angeles, they spent some time together, adding: "They have kept in touch every day since their trip to Montana," noting that "Jennifer is doing well." "She looks very happy and excited about her future."
Lopez and Affleck's relationship began in 2002, and together they starred in the Jersey Girl and Gigli films, postponed their 2003 wedding, and then officially separated by January 2004.
As for how to reconnect the ex-spouses, a source recently told PEOPLE that "Ben reached out to Jennifer as a friend," adding, "He was basically checking on her ... He was celibate and thought she might be celibate too."
Back in March, Lopez and her fiancé Rodriguez announced that they were working through some things, before they officially parted in April, and in January Affleck split up with his then-girlfriend Anna de Armas after they first became romantically involved in early 2020.
