The UAE provides Japan with more than a quarter of its oil imports during February
Japan imported more than a quarter of its crude oil imports from the United Arab Emirates during the month of February.
According to data from the Energy and Natural Resources Agency of the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan imported 18.742 million barrels from the UAE.
The Energy Agency stated that the proportion of oil imports from the UAE amounted to 25.9% of total Japanese oil imports.
And indicated, according to "WAM", that the amount of crude oil imported by Japan during that month amounted to 72.233 million barrels.
