One of the screenshots of the new feature indicates that WhatsApp asks for the password that was set when restoring the backed-up conversations on one of the storage platforms compatible with the service, but according to another screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will not be able to recover Passwords in case you forget them.
