The Crown tops the Choice Awards ... see all the other winners
As we entered the World Film Awards season, the Critics Choice Awards 2021 was held, by default, just as the Golden Globe was held recently. The controversial British family series "The Crown" won the Best Drama Series award, and actor Josh O'Connor won the Best Actor award. A drama series for his portrayal of the role of Prince Charles, while actress Emma Corinne won the award for Best Actress in a Dramatic Series for her portrayal of the character of Princess Diana, and for the Best Actress Award won by actress Gillian Anderson for the role of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Whereas the star, Rania Taylor Joy, won the best actress award in a series or a short film for her role in the series "The Queen's Gambit". The film, which has collected many awards all over the world, "Nomadland" won the Best Film Award, and for the third time after his death the late Chadwick Bosman won Best Actor for his role in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom".
Netflix had achieved great success with its fourth series of The Crown, and the Daily Mail calculated that 29 million people logged onto the live streaming service to watch the latest royal family drama, The Crown, at its start.
