The performance of the smartphone changes with the passage of time and frequent use, and some applications freeze due to the memory full of media.
To avoid this problem, it is advised to turn off automatic media in every application, according to a report in the Russian newspaper "Rasiskaya Gazeta".
"In the event that applications on a smartphone crash, it is necessary to clear the main system memory (RAM)," said Plekhanov Alexander Timofeev, Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics at the Russian University of Economics.
He continued: "It is possible to improve the performance of the smartphone by means of cleaning the main permanent system memory in the smartphone settings. In addition, many messaging programs have a function to clear the internal cache."
Timofeev also noted that “when using applications to clear memory, there is a risk of exposure of the phone to ad viruses, while recent versions of operating systems are advanced enough to handle memory cleaning in normal general mode.”
For example, in the main system memory (RAM) partition, you can clear the cache of currently running apps or even unload the apps themselves from the memory.
The expert also advised clearing the browser cache and history of visits and requests, in addition to cookies (files created by websites that the user visits).
