Marvin Hagler dies, "Marvelous" the world's greatest boxer
Nicknamed the "fighter of the decade" in the 1980s, he only officially fell to the ground only once in his career.
Former world middleweight champion, Marvin Hagler "Marvelous", died at his home in New Hampshire, USA, at the age of 66.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, who held the middleweight boxing championship title between 1980 and 1987, Marvelous is one of the greatest boxers in the world.
Dubbed the "fighter of the decade" in the 1980s, he is famous for having only officially fallen to the ground only once in his career.
Marvelous, who started his professional boxing career in 1973 from Brockton, Massachusetts, waited seven years to claim his first middleweight title, after beating nearly everyone in his path.
Having won the title, it wasn't easy to lose him until 1987, when boxer Sugar Ray Leonard beat him, in a 12-round match.
