The White House held a memorial service for the victims of the new Corona virus "Covid-19" in the United States, in the presence of President Joe Biden, his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband.
The White House lit candles on the steps of the stairs and in the courtyard, amid the playing of military music, after the flag was lowered.
Yesterday, Monday, US President Joe Biden announced that flags will be at half-mast in the United States for a period of 5 days, mourning the lives of the Corona virus victims in the country, whose number exceeded 500,000.
Biden said, in a press conference, that Congress must adopt the rescue plan developed by his administration, to face the repercussions of the Corona epidemic.
"We are ready to listen to more ideas to improve it," he added.
According to the American ABC network, Biden and his wife, Jill, are planning to commemorate the death of 500,000 people with the Coronavirus by lighting candles at the White House.
