Israel imposes a night lockdown until Sunday
The Israeli government decided to impose a night curfew during the holiday of "Purim", from Thursday until next Sunday. This is in an effort to limit the spread of Corona.
A night curfew will start during the festival of Purim, starting from tomorrow until next Saturday, at half past eight in the evening until five in the morning.
During this period, it is forbidden to stay in the house of others and leave the houses for more than a thousand meters, and public transport between cities will be disrupted.
The Cabinet Office and the Ministry of Health confirmed that gathering is prohibited day and night. Up to ten people are permitted to gather in a closed building, and a maximum of twenty people in open areas.
The Presidency Office stated that the police were working under the Noise Prevention Law to enter homes to enforce Corona regulations. However, this law excludes the night of "Purim", however it is ready to break up any party that will be held in halls or industrial zones.
