Breaking News .. Media professionals: Canceling the permit to practice the profession of the journalist Tamer Amin
The Media Syndicate decided to cancel the permit to practice the profession for the journalist Tamer Amin, presenter of the Akher Al-Nahar program on Al-Nahar channel, because he spoke in an inappropriate manner about Al-Sa`ada.
The Syndicate said in its decision a short while ago: After the end of the investigations today, Saturday 20/2/2021, with Tamer Amin, the presenter of the programs on Al-Nahar channel, which lasted for about three and a half hours, and the investigations ended with a violation of the Media Honor Charter and the Code of Professional Conduct in Chapter First General Principles in its paragraphs Figures 2.4.6.7.
Which stipulated 1- Paragraph No. 2 on respect for the divine religions, societal values, ethics and traditions of the profession
2- Paragraph 4 emphasizing the role of the media in protecting national unity and national cohesion
3- Paragraph 6 Respecting human dignity and not offending any group of society
In the chapter on duties, the aforementioned violated Paragraph 7, which stipulated that the privacy and family life of all citizens should not be violated
Accordingly, Deputy Dr. Tariq Saada, head of the Media Syndicate and Senator No. (10) for the year 2021, issued a decision to cancel the permit to practice the profession issued to Mr. Tamer Amin Ibrahim Youssef Bassiouni for violating the Media Honor Charter in the aforementioned articles.
