Dr. Mustafa Waziri explained that the restoration work included restoring the floors and cleaning the walls from the remains of birds and bats, in addition to restoring and cleaning the existing inscriptions and removing the soot.

The tomb was discovered in 1817 by Giovanni Belzoni. The tomb is 29 meters long, and it is a short corridor that ends with a burial stone containing a granite sarcophagus.

Among the most important scenes in it are on the left wall of the burial chamber, where the view of the Book of Gates is shown, and another scene that represents the king kneeling before the spirits of Nkhun, Bi and Hieraknopolis. The mummy of the king is displayed in the Luxor Museum in the Hall of the Glory of Thebes.
