The all-new Urus Senat - a luxury Russian sedan to rival Bentley and Rolls-Royce
Urus showcased these luxury cars at the 2019 Geneva show.
Who is Urus? It is the company that manufactured the presidential car for Vladimir Putin.
This car is called the "Urus Senat" and is available as a regular sedan or limousine and incorporates a number of Rolls-Royce design cues.
The limousine is armored and measures 6,630 mm long and has a massive wheelbase of 4,300 mm.
The Senat sedan is much smaller, but by no means small. It measures 5,630 mm in length with the wheelbase extending 3,300 mm.
The cabin is luxurious in every sense and features luxurious leather upholstery, wood finishes and metallic accents.
This car also comes with a high-tech product, as it contains a set of digital devices, a wide-screen infotainment system and a dual-screen rear entertainment system.
Like Bentley and Rolls-Royce, the Urus offers a comprehensive customization service that enables buyers to customize nearly every aspect of their interior design.
Power is provided by a hybrid V8 that produces 598 hp (440 kW) and 880 Nm of torque. The sedan was able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in about six seconds, while the limousine could accomplish the same task in about nine seconds.
In terms of safety, the Sonat is supported by a variety of driver assistance systems including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and collision avoidance system using pedestrian recognition technology. The model also includes a Blind Spot Warning and Traffic Sign Recognition System.
Urus is currently accepting pre-orders, but production is very limited at the moment. However, a new plant is scheduled to open late next year in Tatarstan, and this should enable Urus to increase production to 5,000 units per year.
