Russia: A third vaccine against Corona for young people and the elderly
The Russian Minister of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that the ministry received the documents to register a third vaccine against the Corona virus, which was designed at the Chumakov Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, explaining that these vaccines were designed using 3 different technologies, and they are vaccinated for young and old.
Last August, Russia announced the registration of the first vaccine in the world, "Sputnik V", which was designed and produced in the Russian "Gamalia" center, and the "EpiVac Corona" vaccine produced by the "Victor" Center of the Federal Authority for the Protection of Rights Consumer and Citizen Welfare “Ross Potterbnadzor” is declared 100% effective.
Yesterday, Russia recorded 21,152 new cases of coronavirus and 597 deaths, bringing the total deaths in the country to 67,220.
