Pelosi prepares to remove Trump from office
US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced today, Monday, her intention to introduce a bill calling on outgoing US Vice President Mike Pence and members of the government to remove Donald Trump from office, as he is unable to perform in his post.
On the other hand, the US House of Representatives Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, on Monday, expressed her condolences to the family of US Congress officer Howard Lepingod.
"On behalf of the House of Representatives, I send my deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Officer Howard Lepinggood," said Pelosi's statement.
The statement added, "Officer Lepingood was a patriot who devoted his life to defending the Capitol and protecting all who serve, work and visit this temple of our democracy. His death is a great tragedy that exacerbates the horror of last week."
And she added, "Officer Lepinggood's service may be an inspiration to uphold and defend the Constitution and protect the American people. It may be a source of comfort for Officer Howard's family to receive so much grief and prayers for them at this sad time."
