LG unveils the world's first foldable smartphone .. photos
LG has published an official teaser for the world's first foldable smartphone, called the LG Rollable, as part of the world's largest consumer electronics exhibition, CES 2021, which will take place by default from January 11 to 14.
According to what was reported by the technical site "gsmarena", the teaser video, which lasted for five seconds, showed a smartphone with a rollable screen that could expand, which is scheduled to be launched by "LG" later this year.

The LG Rollable phone will use a unique, flexible, upgraded OLED screen, resizable, that extends into a tablet screen instead of a smartphone screen, and helps the expansion and contraction process provide a larger screen area.
According to the technical site, "LG" is working with the Chinese company BOE to produce the rollable screen, and the company did not disclose any information about the specifications or size of the LG Rollable phone screen.
The LG Rollable comes as part of LG’s Explorer Project experiences, which the Chinese company used last year to launch its LG Wing smartphone, with a rotating design and two OLED screens.
Nikkei newspaper obtained confirmation from an LG spokesperson that the LG Rollable phone will go on sale later this year, and no specific date provided any information or details about pricing.
