Egypt grows organic strawberries at the lowest cost and highest productivity
Agricultural expert Ahmed Nassif said that Egypt had succeeded in growing strawberries with biological systems and achieved the highest productivity with international quality at the lowest cost and the best price to compete with European and international markets during the recent period.
Nasif added to the media, Muhammad Ghanem, through the "Al-Jadaan" program on Cairo and Al-Nas 2: There is a pioneering pilot experiment that was planted in the lake, with an area of 5.5 acres with strawberries, in which the use of biological fertilization with the vital material of Novablus, the control of agricultural pests and the spraying of leaves with novacea instead of chemicals The result was amazing in terms of the size, quality, color and suitability of the fruits for export, after analyzing the components of the fruit and making sure that it was free of any pesticide residues.
He explained that the head of the Biodynamic Research Center at Sadat University pointed out that the area of land planted with strawberries in the amount of 5.5 acres gave the highest productivity per feddan equal to 3 times the traditional cultivation with chemical fertilizer, and other crops such as eggplant, cucumber, garlic, lettuce and cabbage succeeded with it, with the same high productivity.
He pointed out that the manufactured manure is treated with municipal fertilizers or animal manure with compost for a month, and biological fertilizer is used that gives the highest productivity equivalent to 3 times an acre planted with chemical fertilizers, which reaches 80 tons per acre.
