A report by the "Washington Post" newspaper revealed that at least 300 people were rioters. They entered the Capitol building during the storming of the US Congress on January 6.

The newspaper analyzed what happened that day, at the Capitol. Where "text messages, pictures and hundreds of videos were examined, thus reconstructing the sequence of events on the aforementioned day."


The newspaper added: “The newspaper used the facial recognition algorithm and found that at least 300 people were rioters. They were in the footage that was filmed inside the Capitol, when the police were trying to evacuate lawmakers. ”


The article noted that this algorithm allows recognition of existence, but does not identify the identities of its owners.


The article continued: “The actual number of rioters (who stormed into Congress) is likely higher. Because the recordings analyzed by the newspaper did not include all the participants and everyone who was in the building.


The newspaper published, on its website, a video recording what happened in Congress on January 6. It showed protesters infiltrating the building at 14:12 local time (22:12 Moscow time), through a window that they had smashed.
