He stressed that "Canada and the United States enjoy one of the most unique relationships in the world, based on a common commitment to democratic values, common interests, and strong economic and security relations."

He continued in his statement: "We will continue this partnership while fighting the global Corona pandemic, and support the sustainable economic recovery that will return better to everyone."

"We will also work together to advance climate action and clean economic growth, promote inclusion and diversity, and create good jobs and opportunities for the middle class for our people, while contributing to democracy, peace and security at home and around the world," he added.

US President Joe Biden was sworn in today before the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts, to be the 46th President of the United States officially.

As Vice President Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, was sworn in at the inauguration in front of the Capitol.

American newspapers revealed that Joe Biden was sworn in as the forty-sixth president of the United States, by placing his hand on the historical Bible of the Biden family.

The Biden family has been in circulation for decades, and the Bible is five inches thick and has a Celtic cross on the cover, and has been in the Biden family since 1893.

The inauguration ceremony of Biden and his deputy, Kamala Harris, was held to assume their duties, in the presence of a number of officials and public figures, and in the absence of the masses due to the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

Earlier in the day, the outgoing US President Donald Trump left the White House for the last time, heading to Florida, where he confirmed earlier that he would not attend Biden's inauguration because he did not acknowledge the election results.
