Al-Sisi inaugurates a project, the largest of its kind in the Middle East, the Al-Fayrouz Fish Farming Project
This morning, Saturday morning, Egyptian President “Abdel Fattah El-Sisi” inaugurates the Fayrouz fish farming project in East Al-Tafreya in Port Said Governorate.
The spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Bassam Radi, said, “The turquoise project in East Port Said is considered the largest of its kind in the Middle East. To add a new achievement to the series of giant developmental achievements that Egypt is witnessing in recent years.
The mega project also contributes with a huge added value to the development of the Suez Canal area and the Sinai Peninsula. By creating new industrial and urban communities in them, as the project provides 10 thousand direct and indirect job opportunities in many professions and specializations in this field.
It also aims to reduce the gap between production and consumption, achieve self-sufficiency, and limit imports. And it increases the chances of exporting to the Arab and European markets, thus providing hard currency and supporting the national economy.
The spokesperson added, “Al-Sisi will also open a video conference, a number of other projects for the production of marble and granite in Ras Sidr and Ain Sokhna. In addition to projects for dairy and animal production in Nubaria and Fayoum.
