# Al-Ahly receives an "ISO" certificate as the first sports club in Egypt to obtain an ISO QMS 9001: 2015 certificate
Al-Ahly club management obtained a certificate of conformity with the international specifications ISO 9001: 2015 ISO, so Al-Ahly club became the first sports club in Egypt to obtain this certificate, which reflects the desire of the club in charge to place Al-Ahly in the position it deserves at all times.
Engineer Muhammad Othman, President of the Near East Services Company "NES", handed Captain Al-Khatib, President of the Club, the certificate of "ISO 9001: 2015" in the presence of many members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director of the club.
This came after passing the audit of the club’s management systems, which was carried out by a team of international auditors from the “Near East Service” represented by the European Certification Authority (EuroCert), which is one of the major awarding bodies for management system certificates in Egypt. And Europe, in accordance with the requirements of the International Standard for Quality Management Systems «ISO 9001 for the year 2015».
The Board of Directors, headed by Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, praised this step at the administrative level, and the team of auditors from the company "NES" was highly appreciated for the distinguished technical and professional level shown during the audit process.
The Board also appreciated the comments added by the review team to improve performance and maximize the added value of implementing a quality management system in the club.
Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of the club, expressed his happiness that Al-Ahly obtained the certificate of conformity with international standards (ISO 9001: 2015), becoming the first sports club in Egypt and Africa to obtain this certificate.
