Wu Yanbin, Director-General of Science and Technology for Social Development at the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, said that his country is currently working on 16 vaccines that have been developed on its own.
It is worth noting that the first vaccine developed by the Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co., Ltd. Affiliated to the China National Biotechnology Group under Sinopharm. Last month it received conditional approval from the National Medicinal Products Authority of China.
