William Shakespeare receives the Corona vaccine
William Shakespeare became a resident of Warwickshire in England. One of the first to receive a preventive Covid-19 vaccination outside of clinical trials.
The 81-year-old was given the vaccine today, Tuesday, at Coventry University Hospital. Which is located about 30 kilometers from the city of Stratford-upon-Avon. The birthplace of the famous English playwright and poet William Shakespeare.
Shakespeare's vaccination inspired Twitter users who joked with tweets like: “Taming the Influenza,” similar to the English writer's play The Taming of the Tigress. And “Ladies of Corona”, similar to the name of his play (Verona Ladies), and others.
