A spokesman for the implementation committee of Imam “Setad” Hajj Malaki said in a tweet to him on his Twitter account: “It is a historic moment for a human injection in the first phase of clinical studies of the Corona vaccine,” explaining that the person who was vaccinated is the daughter of the committee’s chairman. For his part, the Assistant Chairman of the Committee for Social Affairs, as the second volunteer to be vaccinated with the Corona vaccine, confirmed that he did not feel anxiety, and this vaccine is completely safe. Tehran had confirmed that its vaccine helps it overcome the Corona pandemic, despite US sanctions that limit its ability to import vaccines. The vaccine is developed by the "Shefa Farm" company, as its batches are expected to reach 12 million doses per month, six months after the end of the trials. "The message behind this is that we do not see ourselves in isolation from people, so we brought our people first to test this vaccine," said Health Minister Saeed Namaki, according to what was reported by the Iranian Radio and Television Corporation.
