French Presidency: Macron will receive President El-Sisi at the Elysee Palace next Monday

The French presidency announced that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will meet French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace on Monday for an official visit, and the two presidents will discuss regional crises, especially tensions in the Mediterranean.

"The Elysee" said that this visit comes after the French president's visit to Egypt in January 2019, and aims to strengthen relations between Paris and Cairo, the strategic and necessary partner for stability in the Middle East.

The two presidents will meet on Monday at the Elysee Palace to discuss regional crises, especially in Libya and tensions in the eastern Mediterranean, and Sisi will also receive during his visit, Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, who visited Cairo recently.
