The Eiffel Tower opens its doors to tourists on December 16, after weeks of closure due to the emerging Corona virus pandemic, according to the account of the famous tourist tower in the French capital Paris on Twitter today, Tuesday.
The tweet, which was accompanied by a picture of the French flag, read: "I look forward to seeing you between 1030 am and 0630 pm on December 16," according to the French News Agency.
The tower was closed to visitors at the end of October after France tightened its restrictions on freedom of movement in an attempt to control the spread of the virus that has hit France severely among European countries, however, as evidenced by the tweet, night visits will remain prohibited.
The tower also closed and reopened once this year, during the first wave of closures due to the Corona epidemic in the spring, at that time, it was closed for several months.
