European League: Arsenal and Benfica qualified ... and a surprising loss for Rome

Arsenal's English team beat its Irish counterpart Dundalk, by four goals to two, at the Allianz Stadium in the sixth round of the European League group stage.

                                       

With the victory, Arsenal's team qualifies for the 32nd round of the European League group stage, with a full score of 18 points, while Dundalk's team deposited the championship without points.


In the same round, the Napoli meeting ended with Real Sociedad in a 1-1 draw, so the two teams qualified together to the 32nd round of the tournament.


While the Belgian Standard Liege tied with its Portuguese guest Benfica with two goals for each team, Benfica qualified for the Scottish Rangers, while Standard Liege ranked third in the group.


CSKA Sofia achieved an impressive victory over Roma, 1/3, and despite the overwhelming result, the Bulgarian team left the championship by fourth, while Roma remained at the top of the group.
