Details of the attack online on the European Medicines Agency
The European Union's Medicines Regulatory Authority said it was the victim of a cyber attack.
This comes, weeks before it announced the approval of the two Corona vaccines.
The Amsterdam-based European Medicines Agency confirmed an investigation into the accident, according to Russia Today.
However, it did not disclose when the attack occurred exactly, nor did it give details about what was targeted.
She said, "The European Medicines Agency was subjected to a cyber attack," explaining that it "hastened to initiate a comprehensive investigation in close cooperation with law enforcement agencies and other relevant entities."
And she continued, "The agency cannot give additional details while the investigation is continuing, and more information will be provided in due course."
