Changes in senior management of "Emaar Properties"
Today, Sunday, Emaar Properties announced that it has made adjustments to the company's senior management.
The company stated in a statement to the Dubai Financial Market that its board of directors, held last Thursday, elected Jamal bin Thaneh as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Ahmed Jawa as his deputy.
According to “Al-Bayan” newspaper, the company continued, that the Board of Directors elected Muhammad Ali Al-Abbar as Managing Director of the company, pointing out that it had been decided that “Al-Abbar” Chairman of the Board of Directors and the founder of “Emaar” would be devoted to executive management matters and daily follow-up of the company's affairs.
The company confirmed that the new amendments came at the request of the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board’s keenness to comply with the provisions of Article No. (7) (b) of the Governance Manual for Public Shareholding Companies attached to the Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors’s Decision No. (3 / R.M) of 2020 prohibiting the collection Explain the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and any executive position in the company.
