America .. a rage after the killing of an African citizen by an Ohio policeman
A state of anger and controversy erupted in the United States of America after the killing of a citizen of African descent, on Tuesday, by an Ohio police officer.
Colampus City Police Officer Adam Coy fired his pistol at 47-year-old Andre Morris Hill, as he was leaving a garage in front of a residential house and carrying a cell phone in his right hand, killing the man.
The reason for shooting the man, who was found not to be armed, has not yet been determined, bearing in mind that the policeman did not turn on the voice recording system in the camera he was carrying until after he killed his victim.
The authorities later clarified that Hill was alleged by the owners of the house in front of which the accident occurred.
Local media reported that Coy had previously encountered complaints about excessive use of force.
In the wake of these developments, Colampus Police Chief Thomas Quinlan issued a decision to dismiss Coy from his job, while local authorities opened an investigation into the accident, which occurred less than 3 weeks after the killing of the brown youth, Casey Goodson Jr., in the same city, at the hands of the Deputy Sheriff of Franklin Department .
Hill's death sparked fresh protests against the use of violence by police.
