US stocks fell, affected by the closures imposed to contain Corona
American stocks recorded a major decline at the end of a volatile session, with investors weighing between encouraging developments to find a vaccine and growing infections in Corona, and the closures imposed to contain it, according to "Reuters".
While the three major US stock indices closed lower, gains in Tesla stock capped losses on Nasdaq.
According to unofficial data, the "Dow Jones" industrial index fell 345.91 points, equivalent to 1.16 percent to 29,437.44 points, and the "Standard & Poor's 500" index fell by 41.81 points, or 1.16 percent, to record 3567.72 points, and the "Nasdaq Composite" index fell 97.74 points, or 0.82 percent to 11,801.60 points.
