The Milan coach was infected with the Corona virus

Today, Saturday, Italian Serie A club leaders Milan revealed that its coach, Stefano Pioli, had been infected with the new Corona virus.

The Italian club said, in a statement published on its official website, that Pioli, 55, had not shown any symptoms. And he is undergoing home isolation while the team's training, which was scheduled for Saturday, was canceled.


And the club continued: "All the tests that the team members and the technical staff underwent were negative ... ... the team's training before the Napoli match will resume on Monday, based on the procedures set by the Italian Football Association."


Several Milan players have already contracted and recovered from the fast-spreading virus, including goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
