The closure of many of the main streets in Egypt due to the heavy rain, including the (The 5th Settlement)
The Egyptian governorate of Cairo announced the closure of many main streets in the high-end (The 5th Settlement) suburb, today, Friday, due to heavy rain that caused the neighborhood to sink.
In the same context, the governor of Cairo, Khaled Abdel-Al, asked citizens not to leave their homes except for the most urgent necessity, until the bad weather wave that the country is experiencing passes.
The governor also supervised the operations of removing rain water from the streets in a number of Cairo neighborhoods, in order to facilitate the traffic movement.
