Joint treatment drug helps Corona patients recover by 87%

A recent study conducted by researchers at Imperial College in Britain revealed that the drug "tocilizumab", intended for treating arthritis, helps patients with Corona virus with serious problems recover, according to what the British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported.

The researchers said: “The patients who took this drug recovered from the coronavirus by 87 percent, as symptoms improved within 28 days compared to patients who were not given the drug, indicating that the drug may be better than steroids in treatment and reduces the risk of death by up to a third .


Tocilizumab, made by the Swiss pharmaceutical giant "Roche", is an anti-inflammatory drug usually given to people with rheumatoid arthritis.
