Berlin police use water cannons to disperse the demonstrators
"Sputnik" agency reported that the German capital "Berlin" police used water and gas cannons to disperse the demonstrators who tried to reach the German Bundestag building.
The agency added that the security forces arrested the demonstrators, and injuries were recorded among them.
The demonstrators also demanded that they be given the opportunity to enter the German Bundestag building, where a new version of the law on protection from infection for residents was discussed, on Tuesday.
The drafters of the bill proposed expanding the powers of the federal Ministry of Health in terms of imposing restrictions to combat the COVID-19 epidemic, something that did not satisfy many opponents.
